Description: The overall, long-term objective for energy efficiency, which was established in the National Energy Basic Plan (2008-2030), is to achieve a 46% reduction in primary energy intensity by 2030 compared to the 2007 level.

Other target: 1) Increase the share of LED lights to 30% in 2015 and to save 4 Mtoe. 2)The Government wants electric, plug-in hybrid, fuel-cell vehicles to represent a market share of 21% by 2015, and also looks to export 900 000 electric or fuel-cell vehicles per year.
